What Google’s Q&A API Sunset Means for Online Reputation Management
Google announced it will retire the Business Profile Q&A API on November 3, 2025, which means businesses will no longer be able to programmatically manage questions and answers across their listings.
This change, while leaving the Q&A feature available in the Business Profile Manager, is part of a larger update reflecting a shift toward AI-driven discovery across Google Search and Maps.

Submit Feedback & Feature Requests Through The Product Idea Portal

Reply As Your Business, Not an Individual User
With the new Respond as a Location feature, survey replies can now be sent on behalf of the location that received the feedback, in addition to the individual user who’s responding. This gives brands the flexibility to maintain a consistent voice across all customer touchpoints while still allowing for personalized, human replies.
